We\u2019re people who care about our communities, our province, and where things are headed. So we get together to talk about what\u2019s going on and figure out what we can do about it.<\/p>

Give Voice AB is a grassroots group in Alberta. It\u2019s more like a coffee meetup than an organization\u2014people share what they know, listen, and decide together what kind of action makes sense.<\/p>

Sometimes that means speaking up, organizing something, or supporting an issue. Sometimes it\u2019s just conversation. Both matter.<\/p>

There\u2019s no formal structure or obligation. People come and go as they\u2019re able. It\u2019s a space to ask questions, connect, and support one another.<\/p>

When we speak up together, community becomes the place where change begins.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

We get together to talk about what\u2019s going on, share what we know, and figure out what we can do about it.<\/p>

Sometimes that turns into a rally, an event, a conversation, or simply helping others make sense of things.<\/p>

Some people lead, some listen, some share. Everyone takes part in their own way.<\/p>

Most of what we do starts with a simple idea, often over coffee, and grows into action through shared purpose and care.<\/p>

You don\u2019t have to do everything. Just something.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>

We\u2019re rooted in community, starting right here in St. Albert.<\/p>

We also have people from nearby communities who join in when they can.<\/p>

We meet in libraries, coffee shops, parks, and other public spaces. Anywhere people can sit down, talk, and figure things out together.<\/p>

This website shows what we\u2019ve been doing. Bluesky<\/a> is where we share regular updates and keep up with current issues, and it\u2019s the best place to follow what we\u2019re doing day to day. We use Bluesky to stay informed and connected. We\u2019ve also started to have a small presence on TikTok,<\/a> mainly to follow and share other voices. We\u2019re not on Twitter, Threads, Facebook, or Instagram, although some of our members are and may share things there.<\/p>

Being informed and engaged makes us better citizens.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Runa has attended many meetings. She offers support and never complains.
